Shishi-Mai lion dance of Iiyama
This is a lion dance named Tenka-ichi Kanpaku style, which is a three-lion dance with two-male and one-female lions performed to the sound of flute in group of three people wearing a lion’s mask who are beating small drums attached in their stomach. The dance is dedicated to Aso-jinja Shrine of Iiyama on August 15 every year.
