The lion dance of the Nakazato-nishi-gumi (Nakazato west group) which is a traditional art equal to Tenka-ichi Kanpaku Kami Shishi-mai (World No. 1 Kanpaku God Lion Dance), is a three-lion dance with two-male and one-female lions performed in group of three people wearing a lion’s mask, and is dedicated at Hakusan-jinja Shrine and Nakazato-nishi-gumi community center on August 15 every year.
