It has continued at Hirano-jinja Shrine from the middle of Edo era, and is now dedicated as an annual event on the first Sunday of January every year. This Kagura was recognized as Daidai-Kagura Yamato style in 1876 by Tochigi Shinto Chukyoin (intermediate teaching institute). The Kagura dance here has 17 kinds of programs including Kuni-sadame, Tengu, Nijin, Shiki, Yawata, Inari, Iwato Nijin, Kijyo, Daijya, and Ebisu, etc., for which 31 pieces of dance-masks are completely available together with other clothing tools as well.
