シダレザクラは、観賞用として神社仏閣の境内によく見られる落葉高木である。広琳寺のシダレザクラは、高さ約12ｍ、目通り周囲2ｍで、地上から約5ｍの高さで4本の枝に分かれており、傘型の見事な樹形をしている。樹勢は良好で、毎年4月にたくさんの花を咲かせる。
